There is nothing quite like the sound of a cat getting ready to puke in the middle of the night to wake the HUMANS out of a deep sleep, especially when he is sleeping next to you in bed. But then I got to thinking of all the other ways we CATS have the HUMANS trained.
1- I left something for you in the sandbox you gave me
2- Is that the sound of a can opening?
3- did you honestly think I didn't notice you got THAT cat food again
4- Duh you set that piece of salmon down when you answered the phone, I am just on salvage duty.
5- I wanna snuggle and don't take it personally, you're just a warm blanket to me
6- well what did you think, setting that bag down on the floor, looked like a game to me
7- the suitcase, it's perfectly shaped for my bed, why are you stuffing clothes into it?
8- what IS that woman doing again? She always gets that screaming machine out and runs it all over the floor.

Sometimes it takes a while, but eventually they learn. I hope.
